Remote Power Systems
Remote Power Systems
All digital communication systems require a reliable power source to operate. Infinite provides a bespoke range of renewable energy power systems for remote communication assets that cannot be connected to a conventional grid electricity supply. Each system can be tailored to a specific application and designed to be easily transported and deployed anywhere in the world.
Mobile Power Systems
The mobile power systems are easy to transport and deploy and are designed to power low power demand communication equipment for extended periods of time. The re-charging design avoids the need for regular battery exchange to maintain the operation of the communication equipment. The main system comprises:
1 x Mobile base (10m tower)
1 x 200 watt turbine (0.95m rotor)
2/4 x Solar PV Panels (400 – 800 watts)
1 x BESS (2.5 – 3.5kWh)
Each system is designed to provide optimum performance for the specific purpose.
GSM Power System
The Global System for Mobile Communications (GSM) is a standard for digital mobile networks that allows for voice calls, SMS messaging, and data transfer. Thousands of GSM masts span the world and many of them are in remote locations with no available grid power. Infinite’s GSM renewable power system is specifically designed to reduce the use of diesel generators to power these remote systems whilst maintaining a reliable power supply.

“It was a pleasure to work with Infinite in setting up the new service, which will allow a wider range of business to access renewable energy generation and cut their energy costs, while removing much of the bureaucracy and initial costs normally involved. We know more and more businesses are interested in switching to greener energy sources, and the support provided via IRW will help even more businesses to make that change.”
Ashley Jones, Senior Investment Executive at the Development Bank of Wales
"Sustainability is front and centre in all we do as a business and, working with our energy partner, Infinite Renewables, we've established new infrastructure to generate energy that's local and renewable."
Inga Doak, Head of Sustainability at The Royal Mint
“To showcase how a renewable energy system can lead the future of energy, we wanted to install wind, solar and battery storage on the global climate stage at COP28 in Dubai. Having worked with Infinite Renewables over the past couple of years, on projects like the Glastonbury wind turbine, we knew they were the perfect partner to help us bring to life this installation in such a short amount of time. We have some really exciting projects in line with Infinite which will continue to showcase their global network and unrivalled ability as we look ahead into 2024.”
Paul Loran, Director at Octopus Energy Generation
“Albion is thrilled to be bringing its local energy expertise to enable this ‘first of a kind’ project alongside the Infinite team and the Royal Mint. It is an important signpost in how the UK can achieve net zero emissions, democratise the energy system and support employment in the area. It is a very exciting step forward.”
Marco Yu, Partner at Albion Community Power
"The Royal Mint has worked closely with Infinite Renewables over a number of years to establish a Local Energy Centre that delivers significant sustainability and cost benefits to our business. Through this relationship, we work together to find solutions that deliver mutual benefits, whilst positively impacting the wider environment."
Lee Wilkey, Head of Strategic Sourcing at The Royal Mint
