Remote Power Systems
Mobile Turbine Solutions
Infinite has developed a range of innovative solutions to enable wind turbines to be deployed almost anywhere that renewable power is needed. This includes locations that are difficult to access such as remote island developments or events where the power is only required for a short space of time – such as construction projects with no available grid power.
Mobile Marketing Turbines
The 20m or 30m high mobile turbines provide onsite renewable generation combined with high visibility. The turbines can be ‘branded’ and coupled with ‘branded’ solar and battery storage trailers to increase the branding exposure and the power supply options at the event. Infinite has deployed mobile turbines at events and conferences in the UK, Europe and the Middle East – most notably the Octopus Energy Turbines that impressed the world’s attendees at COP28 in Dubai 2023.
Infinite has also developed a ‘turbine in a box’ – a containerised 15kW wind turbine that extends 15m up through the top of a 40ft container. Easily transported and deployable anywhere in the world and a perfect branding opportunity.
Ballasted Bases and Tilting Towers
Infinite’s steel mobile bases differ from standard turbine bases because they are re-usable and they sit ON the ground. This design massively reduces the carbon footprint and minimises the environmental impact of the wind turbine. The bases can be easily transported and assembled on site ready to receive the wind turbine. Infinite has two ballasted systems available; one base utilises pre-cast concrete blocks for ballast and the other system uses local spoil as ballast to backfill the base – perfect for Island applications.
Both bases can be supplied with tilting towers which use a hydraulic ram to raise and lower the turbine tower.
Solar and Battery Storage Trailers
Infinite supplies a Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) combined with roof mounted solar panel generation, neatly packaged in a twin axle container. The battery unit is self-charging from the solar pv or can be used in combination with the mobile wind turbine for remote renewable energy developments.

“It was a pleasure to work with Infinite in setting up the new service, which will allow a wider range of business to access renewable energy generation and cut their energy costs, while removing much of the bureaucracy and initial costs normally involved. We know more and more businesses are interested in switching to greener energy sources, and the support provided via IRW will help even more businesses to make that change.”
Ashley Jones, Senior Investment Executive at the Development Bank of Wales
"Sustainability is front and centre in all we do as a business and, working with our energy partner, Infinite Renewables, we've established new infrastructure to generate energy that's local and renewable."
Inga Doak, Head of Sustainability at The Royal Mint
“To showcase how a renewable energy system can lead the future of energy, we wanted to install wind, solar and battery storage on the global climate stage at COP28 in Dubai. Having worked with Infinite Renewables over the past couple of years, on projects like the Glastonbury wind turbine, we knew they were the perfect partner to help us bring to life this installation in such a short amount of time. We have some really exciting projects in line with Infinite which will continue to showcase their global network and unrivalled ability as we look ahead into 2024.”
Paul Loran, Director at Octopus Energy Generation
“Albion is thrilled to be bringing its local energy expertise to enable this ‘first of a kind’ project alongside the Infinite team and the Royal Mint. It is an important signpost in how the UK can achieve net zero emissions, democratise the energy system and support employment in the area. It is a very exciting step forward.”
Marco Yu, Partner at Albion Community Power
"The Royal Mint has worked closely with Infinite Renewables over a number of years to establish a Local Energy Centre that delivers significant sustainability and cost benefits to our business. Through this relationship, we work together to find solutions that deliver mutual benefits, whilst positively impacting the wider environment."
Lee Wilkey, Head of Strategic Sourcing at The Royal Mint
